This gathering offers an intimate yet engaging space for graphic designers to reflect on the creative processes behind exhibition design. Centered on personal narratives and shared experiences, the programme highlights the evolution of ideas, design challenges and meaningful turning points. Through presentations, group discussions and guided prompts, participants will explore how designers shape their philosophies and approaches, emphasising process over outcome and fostering dialogue across disciplines. This programme is of particular interest to graphic designers and visual design enthusiasts.
This programme is preceded by an Assembly-led exhibition tour of the 2025 Youth Takeover. Participants are encouraged to attend this tour to learn more about the Takeover themes and exhibited works. Register your spot through the above link.

Poorvaja Subramanian is a graphic designer based in Dubai. Her practice is rooted in brand identities, visual systems, exhibition design and publication. Her work is playful and experimental, driven by curiosity and a constant need to make sense of all the questions buzzing in her head.
Abrar Kebaili is a member of the 2024-2025 cohort of the Assembly. She is multimedia artist and creative designer focusing on exhibition visuals. Blending diverse perspectives with conceptual storytelling, Abrar’s work captures the unique essence of each project. Passionate about Islamic art, she seeks to create thought-provoking designs that bridge personal narrative and cultural expression.
