QISSA’ GO, a South Asian performance and literary collective presents, Ganj-I-Shakr. This Urdu-language theatrical play explores the themes of climate change, concepts of development and progress, and human negligence via a compelling human-interest story. With an original music score and live qawwali woven as part of the narrative, Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park hosts a theatrical production in the outdoor amphitheatre. This hosted play is part of the Jameel’s ongoing series, Performance at the Park.

QISSA’ GO has previously performed at Alserkal Avenue, the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, hosted open-mic sessions, worked on independent productions and performed for the guests of the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
