March is traditionally the UAE’s art month: while in 2021 some events move online, the physical presence of exhibitions and galleries continues in an adapted form.

Art Dubai 2021

Art Dubai 2021, the Middle East’s leading international art fair, this year takes place at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from March 29 to April 3, 2021 and features 50 galleries from 31 countries with a focus on modern and contemporary art from the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

March Meeting 2021

Sharjah Art Foundation presents the annual March Meeting 2021 online, accompanied by major exhibitions at their spaces. Unravelling the Present takes place March 12-21 and sets the stage for Sharjah Biennial 15 (March 2022): Thinking Historically in the Present, conceived by the late Okwui Enwezor and curated by SAF Director Hoor Al Qasimi.
