In this workshop developed by Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council families of all ages are invited to explore the ancestral Emirati Craft of Talli, a handwoven textile technique. During this workshop, participants learn about the cultural heritage of this craft that’s been passed down for generations.
Irthi reintroduces the traditional craft through its collection of specially designed hand-made stamps, immersing participants in its different styles and patterns, learning to print, design and decorate their own eco-friendly tote bag.
The workshop held by Irthi’s Amal Farouq Ismail is free-to-attend.
Registration for this event is now full. Kindly RSVP to add your name to the waitlist in case of cancellations.
