Jameel Arts Centre holds together a series of tours and workshops for children. The workshops feature a guided tour of the galleries and a discovery journey of artworks followed by creative hands-on activities, unique to each visit and led by artists and educators.

Join Majd Alloush for an exciting workshop that playfully explores the 2000-year-old process of relief printing. Using special tools to carve into linoleum plates, children will learn how to prepare, transfer and print their own images on paper.

Key workshop takeaways focus on looking at art but also on making and reflecting.

Majd Alloush is an artist based in Dubai with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sharjah. Alloush works with printmaking, moving images, sculpture, photography and installation to radically rethink his outlook on subjects of interest. Politics, self-exploration and psychology are some of the concepts that drive his creative process in addition to documenting social theories and observations of the human psyche.
