  • Children’s Tour and Workshop led by Nahla Al Tabbaa

This tour and workshop is inspired by Art Jameel Commission’s sculptural installation Contrary Life by Alia Farid and Aseel AlYaqoub currently exhibited on the Jameel Arts Centre’s roof terrace featuring a botanical light garden devoted to trees. Participants start with a tour of the exhibitions followed by a design and drawing based workshop on creating community spaces.

Key workshop takeaways focus on ideas of community, functionality, playful public spaces and case studies of inspiring gardens from around the world.

Sessions are free-to-attend with advance registration required. Register by emailing [email protected]. Limited spaces available.

This session is held by artist and educator Nahla Al Tabbaa.
