• Children’s Tour and Workshop led by Nahla Al Tabbaa

Inspired by the current group exhibition ‘Crude’, exploring oil’s influences in today’s world, four solo shows and various sculptures and commissions, Jameel Arts Centre holds together a series of tours and workshops for children.

The workshop features a guided tour of the galleries and a discovery journey of artworks followed by creative hands-on activities, unique to each visit and led by artists and educators.

Sessions are free-to-attend with advance registration required. Register by emailing learning@artjameel.org. Limited spaces available.

This session is led by Nahla Al Tabbaa.

Nahla Al Tabbaa is an artist, urban place-maker and educator. She currently consults on pedagogical and socially engaged art projects and is an experienced curator and presenter with Frying Pan Adventures. She obtained an MA in Curatorial Practice (2012) and a BFA in Sculpture (2009).

Key workshop takeaways focus on looking at art but also on making and reflecting.
