To all nature-enthusiasts, eco-conscious and sustainability-aware, mark your calendars and save the dates! The UAE’s annual green gathering Down to Earth returns for its fifth iteration with an extended programme filled with thematic activities for all ages happening on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, 2024 taking place at Jameel Arts Centre and across the Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park, Dubai!
The crowd-favourite festival is free and open to everyone, featuring a weekend filled with exciting activities themed around botanical, sustainable and eco-conscious living through making workshops, tours, talks and demonstrations, plus an interactive art installation, experiential performances, film screenings and a range of exhibitions.
Surrounding the Jameel Arts Centre and the Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park, the festival also includes it’s annual curated Green Bazaar that offers a diverse array of plants and flora, eco-friendly and sustainable gifts, vintage/preloved fashion and products from homegrown businesses, plus an exclusive of sustainability-themed collection of books and design gifts from the Art Jameel Shop. Extending the bazaar also features a Farmers Market with local farmers offering fresh seasonal produce directly to the community while raising awareness about sustainable practices.
Teible, the Michelin Green Star and Bib Gourmand-awarded farm-to-table restaurant will be open for dine-in throughout the day with a menu featuring seasonal and local ingredients.
