Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 6, 2025 and join us for a celebration of culture, creativity, and community that’s free and open to all!
Now in its fourth edition, the Japan Festival in Dubai returns with the vibrant theme Water and Light – Resonant Culture – ~ Traditions Flow, Futures Shine ~, celebrating the essence of Japanese tradition and the strong foundation of cultural exchange.
This year’s edition of the festival takes place for the first time at Jameel Arts Centre and its surrounding gardens of Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park (JWSP), connecting Japan’s rich heritage with the historical and symbolic significance of the Creek, blending “water” as a symbol of tradition and flow, and “light” as a beacon of future hope and connection.
Organised by the Japanese Association of Dubai and the Northern Emirates, in collaboration with Art Jameel, and set within Dubai’s contemporary art museum, the festival invites families and communities of all backgrounds to enjoy a day of Japanese food, crafts, music, dance, drumming and more!

About the Japanese Association:
