Join Jameel Library for an exploratory session on publications from the Special Collection, presented in conjunction with the exhibition Three Tired Tigers. These rare and unconventional books open up new ways of reading, transforming text, image and material into immersive experiences.
Expanding on the exhibition’s exploration of human-animal relationships in urban spaces, the session invites participants to consider how artists and bookmakers engage with animals. Through guided handling, discussion and creative exercises, attendees will interact with delicate, experimental and thought-provoking artists’ books, zines and unique children’s books from the Jameel Library Collections.
The session will be led in English by Three Tired Tigers curator Lucas Morin.
Limited seats are available; registration is recommended.
