• Performance in the Park: Rooftop Rhythms Open Mic Night | The Arabic Edition

Making its Dubai debut at Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park is an all-Arabic Poetry and Music Open Mic Night presented by Rooftop Rhythms, LAMATNA and Jameel Arts Centre.

Join us on Friday, February 21 from 7pm to 9pm for an evening of live Arabic-language entertainment accompanied by snacks and refreshments against the backdrop of the Creek. An Arabic-language exhibitions tour will be offered prior to the event at 6:30pm, with check-in at the Welcome Desk.

The event is free and open to all. RSVP to save your seat. Attendees are encouraged to bring jackets to keep cosy during the performances.

Founded in 2012 by Dr Dorian Rogers, Rooftop Rhythms is the UAE’s premier contemporary poetry brand hosting shows mainly in English and Arabic. In its fifth year, the all-Arabic show aims to promote and preserve the Arabic language while exposing it to non-Arabic speakers.

LAMATNA is an art and culture-focused group dedicated to showcasing homegrown Sudanese and international talents. LAMATNA is driven to motivate performers and talented artists to present their content to a diverse audience and provide an open and friendly space to showcase young and mature artistic talents.
