Walk & Talk: Trevor Yeung

Join us for an intimate outdoor conversation and sunset walk with artist Trevor Yeung at Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park. 

The artist introduces his new site-specific work, Rock Universe (2022), in which a series of rocks adorned with light fixtures, solar panels and artificial plants populate the park. At night, when the Centre is closed and the waterfront is bustling, the rocks emit light, their soft glow keeping park visitors company. 

RSVP is encouraged, as space is limited. 

About Trevor Yeung

Trevor Yeung (b. 1988, China) lives and works in Hong Kong. In his work, carefully-staged objects, animals and plants delicately and ironically address notions of artificiality and the processes of human relations.

Commissioned by Art Jameel as part of Park Projects, a new programme that invites artists to create works in the context of Jameel Arts Centre’s waterfront sculpture park. The 2021-2022 invited artists are Nahla Tabbaa and Trevor Yeung.
