Family Workshop: Weaving and Macrame workshop by Maggie Kabariti

Inspired by Kamruzzaman Shadhin, this workshop invites participants to create woven key rings using natural jute cord using simple knotting techniques. Join us in creating and personalising your own piece inspired by memories, using colourful embroidery thread to embellish and add to your own story.

This hands-on workshop invites participants to reflect on how stories and symbols can become vessels for interpretation. By weaving, embellishing and sharing memories, participants explore the traditional weaving techniques to take home.

This workshop is free to attend and is suitable for families aged 6+. Early registration is advised as spaces are limited.

No prior art experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided.
