Location: Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai
Responsibilities and Duties
Technical Support
  • Assist in preparing architectural drawings, technical specifications, and layout plans using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Support in developing presentation visuals and exhibition documentation using Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Contribute to generating 3D models, fabrication references, and basic renders for internal and external review.
Project Coordination
  • Support in maintaining documentation such as production trackers, work schedules, and site reports.
  • Assist in liaising with external suppliers and coordinating material research and procurement when required.
On-site and Installation
  • Assist in installation and deinstallation phases across exhibitions and projects, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Support artists, curators, and contractors on site during fit-out and installation phases.
  • Assist in coordinating on-site works such as furniture assembly, layout adjustments, and display integration.
Administrative Support
  • Help maintain archives of drawings, contracts, and approvals.
  • Support internal communication between departments and assist in meeting preparations and follow-ups.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Exhibition Design, or a related design discipline.
  • Previous academic or internship experience related to exhibitions, architecture, or design production is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with Enscape is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is desirable
  • Demonstrated organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible working conditions and on-site tasks.
