​​This sensory-stimulating workshop and tour is for young children of ages 3-5 accompanied by an adult. The workshop is structured to introduce hands-on process-based methods gradually, starting with the most elementary sensations.

In this transformative and experiential workshop, young children explore the act of listening through a guided tour, exploring the sounds from Samson Young’s Reasonable Music to Hassan Khan’s A Composition for a Public Park. The workshop teaches young children deep listening while responding to how we hear, creating artworks focussed on mark-making, gestures and textures.

The workshop held by Jameel Arts Centre’s Learning Coordinator Hadeel Al Heeti is free-to-attend with advance registration required. Limited spaces are available.

No prior art experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided.
