Building on success of its launch at Down to Earth in 2020, the Jaddaf Community Garden is here for the winter/spring with a series of harvest, planting and learning days to engage with the community.

The second harvest and planting day takes place on Sunday, February 27 at 4pm, providing participants the opportunity to connect with others, learn home gardening tips from Al Bayader’s in-house expert, Lal Jayalath, and harvest this month’s crops which includes cabbage and herbs. Kids of all ages will also be able to participate in an arts and crafts activity inspired by nature and the garden!

Participants of all ages are invited to join. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

RSVP highly encouraged as space is limited.

This participatory project is in collaboration with a group of local residents known as the Friends of Jaddaf Community Garden, and is powered by Al Bayader, a leader in sustainability and innovation.

*Jameel Arts Centre adheres to UAE Government guidance on safety and hygiene, including limited capacity for this event to keep visitor experience a priority. Participants are required to wear face masks and maintain physical distance from one another.
