In this workshop, Dubai-based multi-disciplinary artist Faissal El-Malak presents a short guide on mentally accessing your happy place, and transferring those images onto paper through a visualisation meditation.

Materials:

• a few blank papers
• your favourite colouring pens, pencils or even a watercolour kit

About Faissal El Malak

Faissal El-Malak is a multi-disciplinary Palestinian designer, whose explorations are guided by his curiosity about the Arab world and beyond, and result in the creation of work that reflects his identity and personal narrative. He has been awarded several accolades for his work, including the DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize (2017). He is the first Palestinian fashion designer to be acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
