Spring Arts Camp

Art Jameel Camp returns this Spring!

The camp takes place at Jameel Arts Centre, Monday,  March 27 to Friday, March 31 9:00am – 3:30pm and is designed for children aged 8-12.

This enriching five-day, full-day programme is packed with stimulating art activities taking inspiration from the current exhibition, An Ocean in Every Drop. Campers explore featured artists’ themes and techniques that respond to humans’ relationship to water while being invited to think with water.

The week is structured to begin with a morning tour of the galleries followed by stimulating activities experimenting with water properties to nurture creative learning through process-based and hands-on methods. Afternoon activities include; storytelling, collaborative painting, performance, costume design and sculpture making.

The week prepares students to set up their own exhibitions and performances that respond to their relationship with water. On the final day, parents and guardians are invited to a reception at the Jameel Arts Centre to preview the works created over the course of the week and watch their children’s performances.

Spring Arts Camp at the Jameel is only for 12-15 participants. The Camp is led by Art Jameel’s early learning specialist Hadeel Al Heeti with artist Sondos Azzam.

Limited spaces available (early booking recommended).

The programme cost is Dhs1000 per child for the full week (inclusive of lunch, snacks and supply of all materials). Siblings receive a 10% discount.
