Amidst whispered wishes, Farah AlZeer and Assembly member Mariam Shamma’s evening tea party unfolds as a celebration of shared experiences, where every sip invites nostalgic reflection. The concept introduces an interactive tablescaping experience, delving into the themes of growth and contradiction that accompany the journey to adulthood.
This heartfelt tea party aims to foster a profound sense of connection and nostalgia, allowing recipients to receive warm wishes from their younger selves, thus adding a unique and unforgettable element to their special day. Whether opting to embrace adulthood or revisit the innocence of childhood, the experience mirrors the perplexities of growing up. Mariam and Farah craft visual cues and specific instructions for facilitating engagement throughout the event, complementing their shared passion for sentimental gifting, birthdays and nostalgia.
This event is organised by the Assembly 2023-2024 member Mariam Shamma as part of the 2024 Youth Takeover.
