Inspired by our current group exhibition ‘Crude’, Artists Rooms, Sculptures and Commissions, Jameel Arts Centre holds together a series of tours and discussions for teens.
The Teens’ Tour starts with an artist-led walk of the gallery during which teens discover the artists and exhibitions. In the second part of the tour they move to our Project Space and are lead through a creative activity and discussion which will reinforce what they learned on the tour.
The sessions aim to enhance the experience and understanding of the Centre’s younger patrons and their families.
Held by multidisciplinary artist Sara Masinaei, each session is free-to-attend, with advance registration required.
Key workshop takeaways focus on looking at art but also making and reflecting.
