An all-new artisan bakery and seasonal dining concept, Teible, is the latest addition to the Centre’s ever multifaceted space. Set by the creek of Dubai’s Jaddaf Waterfront neighbourhood, the new eatery uses fresh seasonal produce to create an eco-conscious and delicate tasting menu, featuring experimental items and underpinned by a farm-to-fork philosophy. Headed by Executive Chef Carlos Frunze, Teible works closely with local farmers across the UAE, crafting storylines for each dish with the aim to take diners on the same journey that brought these ingredients together.
With a treat for everyone, Teible includes a micro-artisan bakery with breakfast, speciality coffee from La Cabra Roastery and an upscale dining experience with a bespoke tasting menu for lunch and dinner, in addition to a selection of refreshing beverages.
Designed by Jameel Arts Centre consultant architecture studio, waiwai, the space and interior design pay homage to Japanese and Scandinavian schools of thought, integrating natural elements while maximising the flow of light. Teible continues Jameel Arts Centre’s movement towards sustainability and in their joint belief of supporting artists, artisans and the larger creative community.
Diners of all ages have the opportunity to experience the Centre’s diverse exhibitions and programmes, enjoy the creekside views of Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park, the UAE’s first open-air art and sculpture park or spend some time in the neighbouring Jameel Library, a growing multimedia library collection featuring books, journals, catalogues, theses, artists’ files and ephemera in both English and Arabic. Free of charge and open to all.

This latest endeavour is a direct result of Ahn’s aspiration to redefine Dubai’s food culture.
Working as an activist for better food, Executive Chef Carlos Frunze’s honest and authentic approach to cooking is the driving force behind Teible’s vibrant menu. His multicultural upbringing has defined his eclectic palate and sharpened his culinary expertise.
