The Mindful Art of Journaling

In this beginner’s workshop with artist Rania Jishi and inspired by the themes of the ongoing exhibition ‘The Distance from Here,’ participants will be guided through a slow art viewing experience and group discussions before being led through a series of journaling exercises to attempt, adapt and ultimately take home to incorporate into their personal mindfulness practice.

The session will be led in Arabic, but participants are encouraged to journal in whichever language they prefer, beit in doodles, Arabic, English, Arabizi or any other form of self-expression.

This workshop is suitable for all levels and does not require prior journaling experience.

Pre-booking is required as spots are limited. To book your spot, click here.

This Art Jameel programme is part of an ongoing series that looks at the intersection between art and wellness.
