About Zaina Kana’an

Zaina Kanaan is the creative powerhouse behind KAVE, the Story of Things, an upcycling community concept located in Alserkal Avenue. From a young age, Zaina has been fond of expressing herself through art and creativity. More recently, she has started creating clay dolls from paper clay as well as homemade clay and is always looking for material to use to create surreal characters from her imaginary world.

About Rania Kana’an

Rania Kana’an, the technical guru behind KAVE, has always loved taking things apart and not as expertly building them back up. Towards adulthood, she honed her skills of building rather than dismantling and has developed quite the knack for establishing social impact businesses. Her passions include finding solutions to everyday problems with a smile and a laissez faire attitude.
