Fady Jameel

Fady Jameel is the Chairman and Founder of Art Jameel and has been deeply involved in philanthropy and the arts throughout his career. He is currently a member of the Council for the Arts at MIT, and sits on a number of international museum boards and committees.

Art Jameel was established to continue the Jameel family’s tradition of supporting its communities. Under Fady’s leadership, Art Jameel runs numerous programmes, with a particular focus on supporting the arts through exhibitions, research and commissions, and providing access to learning opportunities for all ages and backgrounds. Art Jameel has also established major cultural centres in Jeddah (Hayy Jameel, opening 2021) and Dubai (Jameel Arts Centre) to support creative communities across the Arab world, in addition to partnering the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Fady Jameel is the Vice Chairman of Community Jameel, Vice Chairman of Bab Rizq Jameel, and Deputy President and Vice Chairman, International Operations of Abdul Latif Jameel, the international business founded in 1945 by his grandfather, the late Abdul Latif Jameel.
