This session is fully booked. Thank you for your interest.
Back by popular demand following her “From Naturescape to Tablescape” workshops during Down to Earth, Anoud Al Zaben returns this Ramadan at the Jameel to take participants on a 90-minute journey through creating a nature-inspired Suhoor tablescape fit for the festive season and beyond.
Using elements from the natural environment of the UAE and inspired by the Desert is a Forest Artist’s Garden by Sunoj D and Namrata Neog; the Centre’s Jaddaf Community Garden; and the traditional delights associated with the Holy month, this workshop will enable attendees to create semi-permanent Suhoor tables in their homes that delight and inspire.
The workshop will cover Anoud’s entire process: from inspiration and exploration to implementation and execution; designing for both emotional and practical requirements. The session concludes with a joint feedback session and Q&A.
Ramadan at the Jameel is a community engagement initiative made possible in collaboration with #MyDubai.
Participants are invited to arrive by 9:00 pm for a complimentary express tour of Jameel Arts Centre’s current exhibitions before the start of the workshop.
